What information should I bring to my first appointment?

Bring your insurance card, photo ID, a list of your current medications, and any relevant medical or mental health records. It can be helpful to make a few notes about how you’ve been feeling or what you hope to work on with your provider. 

No diagnosis is needed before scheduling. Our intake team will learn about your concerns and connect you with a provider who can help you begin care. 

Choosing the right provider is an important step in your care. Each provider has a unique style, background, and approach to treatment. When you connect with our team, we’ll talk about your goals and preferences, then match you with a provider who’s a good fit for you. 

Yes, you can combine in-person at one of our locations and telehealth visits. This flexible approach helps you stay consistent with care, and our team will help you plan a schedule that fits your routine. 

Therapy is a space to explore your feelings, experiences, and behaviors with a therapy provider. You’ll learn coping tools and strategies that support growth and positive change. 

Psychiatry involves diagnosing and treating mental health conditions with medication when needed. Our psychiatric providers can prescribe and monitor medications while collaborating with your therapist to support your care plan. 

Spravato® treatment is available at select LightHeart Mental Health locations for adults with difficult-to-treat depression. You can schedule a TMS appointment by calling our intake team or submitting our online form. Our team will talk with you about whether TMS therapy is a good fit, review your insurance benefits, and help arrange a consultation. Most sessions take about 20 to 40 minutes, depending on your treatment plan. Clients stay awake throughout the session and are able to return to their usual daily activities right afterward.
